The Science of Leadership and Well-Being
● Are you already a leader but want to improve your skills?
● Do you want to become a leader in your organization or start your own business?
● Would you like to have improved quality of life for yourself as a leader and for your employees?
Join Nancy Perry, Certified Leadership Coach, as she dives into the latest research in neuroscience that provides a path for successful leadership and an increased quality of life for leaders and those we lead. Surveys show that today’s workforce is looking for meaning, human connectedness, true happiness and a desire to contribute positively to the world. How do we provide that as leaders?
Neuroscientists have found that we can change our brains to become better leaders and happier, more fulfilled human beings. We can learn to increase our cognitive function to think rationally and solve problems using more of the frontal brain instead of the reptilian flight or fright brain.
Come prepared to discuss your own leadership challenges. We will break into small groups to consider your challenges and the following questions, among others.
● What are the attributes of a successful leader?
● What gets in the way of your success as a leader?
● What is your purpose as a leader?
● What motivates your team/employees?
Participants in this workshop will not only learn about the latest research, but will learn how to change the brain using the program created by the team at “Potential Project” to train tens of thousands of leaders across the globe.
