How Do I Make LinkedIn Work for Me

With more than 930 million worldwide members, LinkedIn helps us manage our professional identities; build and engage with our professional networks; and access knowledge, insights and opportunities. It’s a powerful resource for finding job opportunities, showcasing our skills and experiences and connecting with others in our field. If you are looking for ways to take better advantage of this important tool, this Question-and-Answer session is perfect for you. This discussion will address questions like:

- What resources does LinkedIn offer?

- What do LinkedIn users typically not know?

- What are some important tips for getting the most out of LinkedIn?

- How can you more effectively incorporate LinkedIn into your networking strategies?

- Is it worth paying for an upgraded subscription to LinkedIn?

This informal, highly interactive session will provide an opportunity to just come with lots of great questions -- both general and personal – and learn more about how to effectively tailor and better leverage this platform in our job search process. There will be no bad questions.
