About the Speaker

Located in Cochrane, Alberta, CA, Steph Gillies is a Business and Transition Coach and active podcaster dedicated to empowering people who are experiencing burnout to make a difference and a profit by launching a purpose-driven online business.

She believes that everyone deserves the freedom and flexibility that comes with owning their own business, whether it’s a side hustle or a full-time venture.

In 2020, Steph was laid off from her nonprofit job where she experienced burnout and exhaustion from working extra hours for little pay.  She decided to jump full time into business so she could take control of her finances and future. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary, and is a Certified Interview and Resume Strategist.
