Inside the Mind of a Recruiter
with Barbara Mitchell
What are recruiters and interviewers really thinking about -- and looking for -- when they sit across the table or in that other little Zoom box? Barbara Mitchell, a nationally recognized HR professional and recruiter, has been in the recruiting world for a long time. In this interactive session, Barbara will share some important insights into what recruiters and hiring managers reviewing resumes and applications look for; how they prepare for interviews; and, most importantly, what they look for when meeting an applicant--whether on the phone, in person, or virtually.
Barbara will also share how she approaches the important task of hiring someone new. Although she cannot speak for all HR folks or all recruiters, she will share some tips on how to increase your odds of success.
A good portion of this evening will be open for your questions for Barbara so don't hold back -- this is a great opportunity to learn from someone who has recruited for Marriott International and two tech organizations, and now helps clients attract, hire, and retain the best talent available.
