Stories Convey Your Value:

Communicate HOW You Get Things Done

We can share a list of impressive results, what we have done, and maybe our contacts, interviewers and others will keep us in mind. If we really want them on our side, actively advocating on our behalf, we need not only to tell WHAT we have done, but HOW we have done it. When people have a sense of what it is like to work with us, how we get work done, they will feel they know us better and will be much more inclined to go to bat for us.

Join career coach, Win Sheffield, to learn how to select and deliver stories that will convey the message of your value in a compelling way.

Topics will include:

  • Identify good stories to tell: What Hollywood can teach us about telling our story
  • Isolate the messages you want to deliver
  • Learn techniques to deliver your message with clarity and impact

This is an interactive workshop. You will be assisted on how to identify and share accomplishment stories and get feedback on how to make them stronger. If you want to start thinking about this in advance, you can listen to 5-minute podcasts on telling stories at www.bit.ly/TPOY-Stories.
