ABOUT THE panelists
Cynthia Grissom is the Director of Business Solutions for WorkSource Montgomery, Inc. (WSM). Cynthia brings experience both from global organizations and small business ranging from the private sector, utilities, and government contracting to nonprofit entities, and has experience in Big 4 consulting, professional financial services, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, human capital, workforce development, marketing, communications, and product development.
WorkSource Montgomery connects resources and partners to job seekers who face potential challenges to finding and maintaining employment. It works to ensure career seekers who walk through its doors have access to the support they need to find their next opportunity.
WSM believes older workers provide a vital component of our economy and workforce. American Job Center staff can assist older workers in their job searches and in identifying other resources to help them. To this end, Cathy also leads a team of age-friendly job search counselors -- including a database of resources for professionals aged 50 and over -- as part of WSM’s American Job Center Program.
Cathy Nestoriak is passionate about helping older adults thrive through meaningful employment. She is the Director, Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) at the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA). Cathy has over 20 years' experience working in workforce development, staffing and recruiting, and training and development. She has experience on both sides of the hiring desk and is experienced in helping people find meaningful work. In addition to nonprofit work as a job seeker trainer, Cathy has run a small staffing agency helping dozens of potential employers find staff and been a recruiter for Westat helping to staff both large and small projects.
