Many of us who have a career have also experienced a blunder or two. Some of these blunders may only lead to momentary setbacks, but others can have long-lasting effects on future career options, especially blunders that linger on for years. Our speaker, Ron Moore, has tried out a number of blunders over his career and has selected 10 of his favorites for this presentation. ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Ron Moore is a small business owner operating the first Schooley Mitchell franchise in Maryland. In this role, Ron works as a consultant helping other small and medium-sized businesses save money by evaluating expenses and controlling costs. He also serves on the board of 40Plus, a non-profit organization that helps older workers who are between jobs develop the skills they need to land rewarding jobs for the latter stages of their careers.
Previously, Ron had a 30+ year career in government contracting, starting as a software developer and working his way up to become a PMP-certified project manager. He was involved in developing major office-automation projects for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U.S. Postal Service, and the National Park Service.
