This session will look at the rewarding career opportunities available in the association and nonprofit sector. We’ll discuss the types of careers available as well as the viability of the association and nonprofit industry.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Jennifer Baker is a Senior Director with ASAE Business Services, Inc (ABSI), the wholly-owned for profit subsidiary of ASAE. As part of her responsibilities she oversees Association CareerHQ–the Career Center for professionals who staff, manage, and lead associations. She is experienced in providing career management support for association professionals and is versed in the career and talent management trends, opportunities, and challenges in the association sector. A native of Virginia, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and her Masters in Social Workfrom Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2005.
