ABOUT THE SPEAKER:



Judy Smith

Judy received her master’s degree in Language Pathology and Audiology. Her extensive experience in these disciplines includes developing programs and services for individuals with a wide variety of cognitive processing disorders. 

A significant addition to Judy’s background are her years of experiences as a Research Associate in Behavior Modification - focused on human motivation.

Following completion of a post-graduate program in Adult Learning, Judy held the positions of Senior Consultant with Pricewater house Coopers, Assistant Director of Training for the National Treasury Employees Union; Director of Training for the Health Industries Distributors Association and Meeting Professionals International and as Executive Director of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers Education Foundation. 

Moving on into the field of Life Coaching, Judy completed training to become certified by the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches as a Registered Corporate Coach and worked in private practice in the areas of business, life and career coaching.  She now brings her expertise to the Jewish Social Service Agency in Rockville, MD in the development of new programs and services for individuals seeking career assistance. 

In 2011, the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services honored Judy with the Benjamin Loewenstein Award for Outstanding Professional Contributions.

  1. Leave the Dupont Circle Metro Station by the 19th Street SOUTH exit.
  2. At the top of the escalator (street level), turn 180 degrees, and walk a short distance towards Dupont Circle.
  3. Turn right and walk counter-clockwise around the outside of the Circle, past Connecticut and Massachusetts Avenues.
  4. At P Street, turn right . Proceed on P Street past 18th Street.
