Navigating Uncertainty: Strategic Planning for Job Search

Conversation with NEAL HENDERSON

As we all know, today’s economy is significantly different from when we first started our careers more than 20 years ago. Many of the “hot” jobs of the 90s aren’t around anymore. New skills are required in new technologies that seem to change every six months. And the working relationships between employers and employees have evolved in new and challenging ways. In your job search, do you feel like a hamster on a wheel – running hard, but not going anywhere? Do you ever say to yourself: “I’m not qualified for any of these available positions”? In Neal’s presentation, you’ll explore the between a JOB and a CAREER position, walk through the Strategic Planning process, and then learn how you can successfully apply these Strategic Planning concepts to your job search.
