Our facilitator for our journey into mindfulness and habits is Dr. Hugh Byrne, a well-known, respected local mindfulness teacher. His recent all-day workshop for the Smithsonian Associates, which 150 people attended, was sold out. Dr. Byrne's most recent academic focus brings mindfulness to daily habits, helping people shift away from autopilot toward behaviors that create greater health and happiness. His newly published book is The Here-and-Now Habit: How Mindfulness Can Help You Break Unhealthy Habits Once and for All.
