About The Presentation:
What does sales have to do with job search, you ask? The answer is: EVERYTHING! When an organization hires you, they are actually "buying-in" to a high value investment--YOU!! Learn to develop sales strategies and techniques that will make your job search effective--and land you that ideal job that you've been looking for
Whether at a crowded reception or in a one-on-one meeting, making the most of your networking opportunities can often depend on how much you’re willing to GIVE, or help, others. Sharing your contacts, resources, and offering your expertise can be a great way to start or maintain a networking connection
40Plus volunteers Ken Schoppmann and Jeryl Skinner will illustrate how this can work through a series of role-playing scenarios, to show how to land informational interviews and how your offer to help your networking contacts can bring out the best in the people you meet, and lead to the type of authentic relationships that will continue to help you well after your first meeting.
