Nonprofit Careers: Trends, Strategies & the Current Job Market

Speaker Website:  www.ramundoconsulting.com

The current economic climate presents great obstacles for job seekers in all sectors
– private, public, and nonprofit.  As recovery continues from the nation’s deep
recession, the nonprofit job market holds opportunities for well‐informed
individuals
.  Success depends on developing and following through on a strategic
employment search.  Even in these uncertain times, talented individuals can find
meaningful nonprofit career destinations by utilizing a creative and well thought out
approach to finding their next job.

This workshop will provide information on what nonprofit job seekers can do to
assure that efforts are pragmatic, focused, timely and effective.  Workshop topics
include:

  1. Emerging Trends and Shifts
What is the status of the current nonprofit job market?
  2. Self Analysis
How do you fit into the nonprofit sector?
  3. Marketing & Tips for Landing a Nonprofit Job
How do you develop and follow through on a strategic job‐seeking
    approach
  4. Networking Resources
What resources are available to assist in the job search process?
